How to use & safety

Doidy Cup

  1. Wash before first use.
  2. Pour a little liquid into the cup.
  3. Rest the rim on your baby's lower lip and let them sip.
  4. As they grow, let them hold the handles and drink on their own. Spills are part of learning.
  5. Dishwasher-safe (top shelf).

Doidy Mini Cup

  1. Wash in warm, soapy water before first use.
  2. Add a small amount of milk, water or supplement.
  3. Sit your baby upright, with their body supported.
  4. Rest the rim on their lower lip and tilt gently, so they take what they need.
  5. Wash after every use. For stains, use the top shelf of the dishwasher.

Start practising open-cup drinking from around 6 months.

Doidy Bowl

  1. Press the bowl's suction base onto a clean, flat surface.
  2. Serve food in the bowl so your baby can scoop it easily.
  3. Wash after use, by hand or on the top shelf of the dishwasher.

Safety

  • Never feed your baby lying flat.
  • Always supervise your baby while feeding.
  • Check the temperature of drinks first.
  • Inspect the cup before each use and throw away if damaged.

Easy for young children to drink from and easy to keep clean.

I like that this cup is much easier to drink from. My 3 year old niece visited and was able to drink out of this cup without her juice spilling. She liked being able to use a ‘grown’up cup.
The angle helps reduce the chance of spills I really like the design.
The little cup I think is for a first cup for tiny hands.
My bowl sucker works well.
The plastic cups seem a bit thin and hard. But the bowl is squeezy and soft.
I really like that these cups are smooth and simple to keep clean.

Brilliant set. 15 month old easily drinks our of the larger cup.

This is such a good set. I think it's the best baby bowl we have and the cup shape is such a good idea. The bowl is perfect for both containing a bit of mess and allowing. Baby a wide area to access and view the food, so it's great for practicing spoon/fork use with. The suction cup was a bit warped on mine at first but I put it in some boiling water and it took its shape and works perfectly now.
At first we used the little cup, giving our daughter a drink when she asked, and it is really easy to do that with. The shape of it lets you clearly see the water level so you know you're not pouring too much or too little towards baby's mouth. She picked this up very quickly and we started giving her the larger, handled cup. A couple of months later of sporadic use and she's pretty good at it. She still has mistakes and I wouldn't want to give it to her anywhere but home, but it's impressive. I didn't expect her to be able to use a cup like this so early. I think it's a brilliant idea, and both cups and bowl are the perfect size for their purpose. All parts also feel sturdy and durable so I think they'll last for the next baby as well.
The colour looks just as shown in the product photos. I'd say it's well worth it. Great set.

My baby keeps spilling — is that normal?

Completely normal, and actually a good sign. Spills mean your baby is practising the tilt, the sip, and the stop — all of which they need to learn. The Doidy Cup's slanted design minimises how far back it needs to be tipped, which reduces spills over time. Most children develop noticeably better control within just a few sessions.

Why is the cup slanted?

The slant lets you see the liquid and control the flow, so your baby can sip at their own pace.

Will the suction base stay put?

It grips well on smooth surfaces and fits most highchair trays. For the best hold, spray a little water on the base, then press it down firmly on a clean, smooth surface.
