Description
Learning to drink from an open cup is easier when your baby can see what's coming. The Doidy Cup's slanted rim brings the drink to their lips without tipping the cup far back, so sipping feels natural and they learn when to sip and when to stop. You guide it at first from 3 months, then hand over the two handles.
Recommended by speech and language therapists, it comes in 11 bright, bold colours for developing eyes, holds 200ml and has no spout, valve or lid, so there's nothing to take apart. It's dishwasher (top shelf) and microwave safe, and still manufactured in the UK.

Questions about this product
From what age can my baby use the Doidy Cup?
From 3 months, with you holding the cup to their lips. NHS guidance suggests offering an open or free-flow cup from around 6 months, and many babies start then. Independence comes gradually as they learn to grip the handles, and every baby gets there at their own pace.
My baby keeps spilling. Is that normal?
Completely normal. Spills mean your baby is practising how far to tilt, when to sip and when to stop. The slant means the cup doesn't need tipping far back, which helps. Keep amounts small while they learn.
Can it go in the dishwasher and microwave?
Yes. It's dishwasher-safe on the top shelf and microwave-safe. It's made from BPA-free, food-grade polypropylene and meets EN 14350:2020+A1:2023. Always check the temperature of anything you've warmed before giving it to your baby.
Is it suitable for children with additional needs?
The two handles and slanted rim make it easier to control how much drink reaches the lips. Every child is different, so if your child has feeding or swallowing difficulties, ask their speech and language therapist or occupational therapist whether it suits them.
Doidy Cup or Doidy Mini Cup: which do I need?
The Doidy Cup holds 200ml and is for learning to drink from an open cup, from 3 months with your help. The 50ml Mini Cup is also an open cup, for starting even earlier or easing in slowly, and for milk feeds if your baby refuses the bottle.
