Doidy Cup Gift Pack: A Perfect Start to Independent Drinking

The Doidy Cup Gift Pack of 2 is a thoughtful choice for parents starting their baby’s journey to self-sufficient drinking. Featuring the iconic slanted design and easy-to-grip handles, these cups are designed to help infants aged 3 months and above transition from bottles to natural sipping.

Why Choose the Doidy Cup?

1. Free-flow: Better for Development
The Doidy Cup’s open design and free-flow functionality are recommended by speech therapists and dentists. Unlike bottles that encourage prolonged sucking, the Doidy Cup promotes natural sipping motions, which are better for oral development and help protect teeth.
2. Easier Transition from Breastfeeding
The open design allows children to see the liquid level, supporting hand-eye coordination and giving them confidence as they learn to drink. As a proper training cup, it helps babies progress toward drinking independently—a key milestone NHS recommends achieving by 12 months.
3. Easy to Clean and Use
With no extra parts, the Doidy Cup is simple to clean and convenient for busy parents. It’s dishwasher-safe (top shelf), microwave-safe, and perfect for use at home or on the go.
4. Thoughtfully Designed by Parents
Created with children in mind, the two-handled design is easy for infants to hold, making the transition to drinking independently smoother and less frustrating.
5. Safe and High-Quality
Made from BPA-free, food-grade polypropylene, the Doidy Cup complies with BS EN 14350:2020 - child care articles related to drinking.

How to Use

  1. Wash the Doidy Cup before the first use.
  2. Pour a small amount of liquid into the cup. Gently place the rim on the baby’s lower lip to let them sip.
  3. As your child grows, encourage them to hold the cup handles and drink independently. Spills may occur but are part of the learning process.

Warnings and Precautions

  • Always supervise your child while feeding or drinking.
  • Check the temperature of liquids before serving.
  • Never leave a child unattended during feeding.
  • Discard at the first signs of damage or wear.

Universally great

Great for teaching our baby to use an open cup. Another family member who is in wheelchair with fixed headrest also uses these. Great for so many situations

Striking Purple, Doidy Cups - easy to use and keep clean

I already have a few Doidy cups in a green and turquoise colour and found them very useful for weaning. This purple coloured set is very striking. Purple is the toddler's current favourite colour so these have proved popular. The handles make the cups really easy for a very young child to hold and manipulate and the slanted design makes spillages less likely. The base of the cups is also stable. The cups are easy to wash or sterilize. Simple and easy to use and keep clean. Great!

Brilliant design. Look very nice.

My daughter loves drinking from these. If I ask if she wants to use one she gets excited as she can otherwise only use bottles. Eventually it always ends in pouring and splashing but for a while she drinks more water than any other method and she can do it herself easily at 18 months. She's been using a different cup from this same brand for much longer, though. I'm not sure when she started but she could use them much earlier than she could any other cup.

They're just so easy to see what's going on because of the slanted design. They're also better to give water from as a parent while teaching, as you can see the water touching her lips rather than guessing.

They're easy to clean, look lovely in this colour, and are the perfect size for her hands to hold. Super high quality and a decent price for 2. I like that the cup itself is recyclable but the pouch isn't marked as such.

Well made

Well made slanting cups with easy to hold handles.
If over filled, they are very easy to spill everywhere.
Baby seems to like them and find them ok to use.
Good functionality and easy to clean.

Non spillage cups

I like that your baby is not able to spill it. I also like the fact the cups are brightly coloured which is more appealing for babies. I have been told that this cup is better for their teeth than a beaker and is good for their hand eye co-ordination. Hopefully in time once my baby is a bit older she will start holding the cup by herself.

Great for dinner time

Love these. Our 8 month old has been using them since he started weaning. He never took a bottle so we’ve used these for a while. Great product.

Genius cups

Way better than normal or sipper cups for weaning. You can see how much water is going in mouth and can assist baby with the flow. Baby is already getting better at using it within a couple weeks.

Effective for small babies

I bought these cups for my 6mth old son. The slanted top means he can see the water coming towards him and he knows when to drink. A great way to teach you g babies how to drink from an open top cup - which is much better for mouth and tooth development than sippy cups.

Excellent for older babies and toddlers

A really good cup to help with the transition from bottle and feeder cups. It's easy for my 14 month old grandson to use, easy to hold and he's not thrown the contents over himself yet! I bought a couple and gave one to his mum as well
