Bickiepegs Teething Biscuit: Supporting Healthy Jaw Development Since 1925
Invented in 1925 by a Harley Street pediatrician, Bickiepegs Teething Biscuits—also known as Bickiepegs Wheat Teether—are crafted to provide a firm, resistive surface for chewing. These biscuits are essential for the healthy development of babies’ jaws and teeth. Starting from 6 months, as babies enter the teething stage, Bickiepegs Wheat Teether offers a natural and effective way to support oral development.
Why Choose Bickiepegs Teething Biscuit?
1. Hard Surface for Jaw and Oral Development
- The hardness of Bickiepegs Teething Biscuits promotes proper chewing, engaging orofacial muscles for jawbone growth and muscle development.
- Its unique shape allows babies to “bite” using incisors, canines, and molars, ensuring balanced oral cavity development and supporting a strong jawline.
2. Supports Hand-Eye Coordination
- The finger-sized design of Bickiepegs Wheat Teether makes it easy for babies to hold independently, mimicking the natural grip of a finger.
- Helps improve hand-eye coordination as babies learn to handle and chew the biscuit.
3. Eases Transition to Solid Foods
- Introduces babies to harder textures, preparing them for a variety of food consistencies and reducing picky eating habits.
- Strengthens chewing muscles, making it easier for babies to adapt to solid foods later.
4. Soothes Teething Pain
- The firm texture of the biscuits provides relief from gum soreness through gentle pressure during biting.
- Regular chewing supports straighter tooth growth, better jaw alignment, and creates more space for future teeth.
5. A Natural and Hygienic Teething Solution
- Single-use hygienic design: Each biscuit is for one-time use, ensuring a clean and safe experience.
- Made with only wheat flour, wheat germ, and water—no added sugar, salt, artificial preservatives, or flavourings.
- Handmade daily in Scotland, rigorously quality-checked, and compliant with WHO Codex standards and UK Food Safety Regulations.
How to Use
- Inspect Before Use: Check each biscuit for damage. Pull and bend in all directions; discard if broken or compromised.
- Attach Safety Ribbon: Thread the ribbon through the biscuit’s hole and secure it to the baby’s wrist or clothing. Wash and reuse ribbons as needed.
- Introduce the Biscuit: Allow the baby to hold and chew independently or gently guide the biscuit to their mouth.
- Encourage Chewing: Encourage three bites on one side of the mouth, then switch to the other. Position near the premolars for effective chewing.
- Timing: Offer before meal times to encourage interest. Use for up to 20 minutes per session and discard after use.

The biscuits is very hard. My baby love it.
And it is more healthy. Better than cheering a plastic.
I thought I can reuse it, but no.
on the description, it says you have to disposed it after the uses for 20 minute.
So these things are really expensive.
I recommended this item if you are rich.

Bought a huge stack as my toddler uses these often . Only thing that will quell teething issues as she’s not using plastic/silicone teething items anymore
