Journey of Bickiepegs - the leading infant oral care brand
The story began in the 20th century when Dr. Harry Campbell, a Harley Street pediatrician, noticed an increasing prevalence of underdeveloped jaws and receding chins in the British population. Determined to address this concerning trend, Dr. Campbell conducted extensive research on diets and their impact on early development. With over 50% of jaw growth occurring before the age of four, he realised the importance of supporting jaw and dental development from infancy.
This insight led to the creation of Bickiepegs Teething Biscuits, also known as teething rusks. These firm, resistive, finger-shaped biscuits encourage babies to exercise their orofacial muscles, promoting healthy jaw growth and oral development from the very beginning. At the same time, the hardness of the biscuits provides a satisfying surface for biting, offering effective relief during the teething period—a perfect balance of function and relief for growing babies.

The Doidy Cup has an innovative design with its slanting rim greatly reduces spillage and helps the cup remain surprisingly stable into the bargain. The perfectly sized double handles also make it easy for babies and children to drink from.
The biscuits were the perfect size for little hands and most parents agreed that the Bickiepeg biscuit kept their baby happy for long enough to distract them from their sore gums.

The versatility of the smart new Doidy weaning bowl is going to make it really handy – for both feeding at home and when out and about. I love the slanted high lip on one side which allows babies to scoop the food up and load it onto a spoon more easily – which helps encourage self-feeding, this makes it ideal for purees or soups. The fact that the bowl rolls up into a handy carry pouch makes it perfect for travel. And I found the strong suction base excellent for making the whole weaning process a bit less messy!
